There's a discount warehouse in the UK called, I think, Costco. After paying a small annual membership fee (£5?), you could get single-mantle Coleman lantern for about £20 - maybe $30. That was a while back - I'm not sure of the current position...
Hail fellow CPL members. Some months ago I bought 639 from the large, American super store chain, Amazon. I managed to buy it new, with free shipping, for as I recall about $87. It runs nicely, but has none of the high quality components of Coleman lanterns from a by gone era. It does, however, burn quite brightly. It seems to me that Coleman has changed their basic green paint to a deeper, darker hue reminiscent of the Brewster horse drawn carriages built in America a long time ago. That color is a smart, classy color. Thank you, Captain Mike in Hampton, Virginia in the Colonies.
