Phoebus 635 Tall

    This Phoebus 635 is taller than the standard 635. In fact it bares so little resemblance to the 635 I do not know why they didn't use another number. This lantern was found in Italy. It is similar in appearance to Karli's unidentified lantern.

    The base is stamped with the number 011. Any Phoebus collectors know what that means?

    I'll post a picture of it running tomorrow.

    Wow what a rare and good condition lamp James - congratulation.
    As far as I know there is no known meaning to the numbers in the bottom. Neal McRay tell there is not much written material from the Phoebus-plant at all.
