I noticed the other day that the Tilley website http://www.tilleylamp.co.uk/ doesn't seem to have any complete lamps... Is this just a temporary shortage?
Had a strange sense of deja vu when I saw this. A quick search turned up [url=http://0flo.com/index.php?threads/3174 thread from nearly two years ago. Same horse different jockey!
So it's happened before two years ago but that doesn't really answer the question... The current X246 is their only product. Do they really keep stock levels that low that they run out or is there a supply issue?
Seems we now have an explanation for the lack of complete lanterns from Tilley. The following is taken from Tilley's web site. 'Stock shortage Sorry, we do not have complete lamps in stock at the moment. The company who pressed our bases for us is no longer trading. We are in the process of getting quotes for another company to make them for us. Please let us know if you would like us to email you when they are available. Click here to send email Sorry for any inconvenience you may have been caused.'
Do we know when that notice was put up? Surely they haven't gone since I started this thread until now without selling a single lamp...
