    hello NMP, fine old Primus you have there, this is one of my favorites, can i ask why you seem to have the mantle bottom tie up to far and not located in the grove just above the air intake tubes :? or is it just an oversight? regards Frank

    The 1001 is a nice lanten but migh not be the most powerful. Getting the mantle burned rigt is very important. Here you can see some photos from a test made by Primus in the 30:s, parts of the glass negatives I achived some years ago.
