    Hello and welcome.
Nice collection. You seems to be on your way to a large collection as many members here have.
Are you a Tilley-man? Because I can not see any Vapalux/Bialaddin.

Ahhhh another who has come down with the affliction. I too started with a few!!! Now I keep looking for places to display them. All I keep hearing is when are you going to sell them on ebay!!! :(
I feel so normal when reading posts here and so sorry for the rest of the un-enlightened masses.
    :D

yes the horrible silver thing near the middle is an Anchor. not as good build quality as the Tilley (but annoyingly much brighter).

So yes I guess at the moment I'm just a Tilley Man.

There's some repo's on the Bay, just search 'Tilley hood', there from Korea though :-$

( not allowed to post links to live ebay auctions, if you do, you'll get a visit from the grim reaper at midnight  )

    Cheers

Me neither David! I have been called a lot of things in may days, but was a bit surprised to get that epithet.

    Thought it should pass...
    Fat chance!

    That's a thought. :-k
Nah! I can't do that to a guy who has the good taste to drive a Chrysler 300C. He must be pretty decent, deep inside.

well yes, another car boot and another lamp, i suspect its a Vapalux 300??? not sure so wonder if anyone can confirm? also i dont know what to do with it as its a little bit lop sided! i think its been dropped on its head at some point :-D
still the glass is in tact, it needs a new pump washer leather thingy and mantle but apart from that i think it'll work.
    Any advice welcome.
is it worth restoring if its bent? if so what paint and where from? 1405885776-vapalux300.jpg 1405885776-vapalux300.jpg 1405885776-vapalux300.jpg 1405885850-Vapalux_hole.jpg

Perhaps it would be a good idea to pump air into the tank and submerge it in water to test it for leaks first of all, Jeff.
