G,,day . all found in the one place .
    a Coleman 249 Scout , kerosene , Australian made in May 1954 .
it has an Austramax globe , which I have read may or may not be what they came with .
it is a little shabby , it will be interesting how well it cleans up .

    also 2 Tilleys . a 246A , july 1963 with bug screen , speculum tank , rusty cage .
    and a 246B , December 1974 , bug screen , funnel cardboard box , speculum tank , a bit shabby , but should be ok .

I am interested to see how the scout comes up and how much light it produces . also how long it burns .
    cheers
    kerry

A 249 is a nice score. They generally fettle up and run well. ::Neil::

I hope so , it appears to be a bit scruffy and the hat is chipped and rusty .
but it is often surprising how good something can turn out .
