Here is my new Leacock from Pensylvania, USA. It was bought in a Amish-shop by a fellow-collector, while they were not to be found on the internet.
It is allowed for the amish to use LED-light driven by solar-panels, so its days are numbered, if not ended in production.
The Leacock has a rough finish though it is made in stainless steel. The amish dont like shiny metal and the normal way these are used is wihtout a shade.

    Here she is:

Hail Claus C. I too have a Leacock 107SS with a slightly different treatment. I attached the light duty acorn globe holder and then slid an aluminum glare shield down over the globe. As luck would have it. it went down about a third of the way and fits perfectly looking as though it was made for the lamp. It has become my work horse table lamp as it runs extremely well with a Coleman burner assembly from a Coleman 'bracket lamp' with the old reliable Coleman R55 generator/vaporizer installed along with a preheat cup. As you can see, I have a hanging rod installed enabling it to be hung above my coffee table/desk. I get 13.5 hours from two quarts of kerosene and it runs extremely steady, not a bit of flutter. Being that I live aboard a boat, I only allow kerosene burning lamps/lanterns aboard for the obvious safety reasons. In closing, these lamps can still be bought new from Leacock Coleman in Ronks, Pennsylvania for $175 minus a shade. They will ship to Europe, too. I run my Leacock at 40 psi and it does really good at that modest pressure. A heavy duty shade hanger can be bought through LC for $24.95 which allows it to hang a heavy, Aladdin type shade. That's all I have for now, forgive my waffling on as I do. Captain Mike De Long in Hampton, Virginia in America.

    Hail Captain Mike
It is a very nice composition you have there and very practic too. I like the shade and globe together and it looks completely different to the expected, nice
I too did get the hanger/hook plus a lot of spares so the lamp can burn for a long time without the need to go through the bit difficult custom Again with parts from the USA. :

The hanger is never in use here back home but nice to have, while my aim was to get a lamp as close to what the Amish uses in their homes and therefor also a petrol-lamp.

Yes you are able to buy Leacock as new but I am informed the production has stopped, so when the shelfs are empty, then it should be over, but this lamp is made to last.
So all in all you did make a very fine choice for a everydayuser on your ship, and your lamp looks by the way also very nautical.
