IL37 Tilley Lamp

Hi, i found this site while trying to find some information about a lamp i have today listed for sale on ebay. The site mentions that it would have been used in railway signal boxes, mine appears to have the cover missing, any idea of a year, regards Jenny

Hi, I did try to upload a picture for this site but the file was to large and im unsure how to reduce it, the lamp can be viewed on the site I have it listed for sale on. A kind person has given me quite a bit of information about it which helps, but im not sure why it is so rare? thank you

 

Probably because not many were made in the first place...

Hi, it is for sale on ebay listed as a (swan neck Tilley lamp) I found this site as I was trying to resurch the lamp as I couldn't see listed any images on the internet, the site has been great for information and I do hope the Chairman/owner of the site hasn't minded me advertising it here for sale, the site has been a great help and a very interesting one also, thank you.
