    I know nothing about her.

    Sold in Germany, Berlin.

    Perhaps knows Neil more about this brand

    Why do you think this is American? Lois Runge GmbH Berlin patented this lantern in December 1923 pat No DE400248. As far as I know this is a German lamp. ::Neil::

    The reason why I think it's an American lamp,

    it looks like an American lamp.

    Ok it is a clone from several American lamps, incl. the shade.

    Yes it is certainly a copy of an American style lamp but the patent probably means they were made in Germany. Interesting lamps. I have seen one other which is in Chicago USA but I expect there will be a few more survivors out there to be discovered yet. ::Neil::

    I believe also Erik Leger has a Runge lantern, here displayed on Terry Marsh web site.
