Last Thursday evening, I dealt with an eBay seller called 'kathy1952uk' of Norwich, Norfolk. Subsequently, I had several telephone conversations with a gentleman who always introduced himself as "the lamp man" and referred to "kathy" a few times. My impression was that she was his wife. During one conversation he gave me details of who had contacted him to try to buy the item 'off-eBay' and how much they'd offered. At one point we discussed another eBay trader called 'camping/fishing/cooking' or some similar name. Anyway, I paid promptly (by bank transfer because he seemed a decent fellow and he'd agreed to tracked delivery) and the item was sent last Friday morning. It arrived Monday lunchtime, as described and very well packed. An exemplary eBay deal and we've exchanged positive feedback. I tell you this only because, on the parcel, the sender was shown as Derek Brinkley of Boston, Lincolnshire and not 'Kathy' of Norwich, Norfolk...
Hi David Nice to have a positive experience on Ebay. Just goes to show what a decent bunch we are in Norfolk (& Lincolnshire). Regards, Jeremy
