    hi all. I need some help to identify this lantern. It runs on gasoline.

    Has the look of a Nagel Chase.

    That's a great find and it looks like a Nagel Chase to me also and the link below shows the relevant page on Terry's website and there is a similar lantern shown there, but it's not exactly the same, Jeff.

    I thought that too see wizard and Nagel Chase in Hollow Wire some similarities.

    This is a Nagel Chase model 5(D)This is one I had up to now assumed was made but had never seen. It is not illustrated in any catalogues but is contemporary with the last model 4 and as NC always made both gas and kero lanterns I assumed there would be a model 5 type D made around 1922 to 1924. Nice find. ::Neil::

    Thanks Neil, I real like this lantern. It's great to get info on it. I paid $16 NZD for it and a astramax 3/300. I hope I can get it going
