Neil, Once said to me : shit pappends as an understatement.

Well 2015 started for us with a shitload: our car burned down last tuesday. Wife was on route and suddenly smoke came from under the dashboard and once she parked at the side of the raoad, flames where already seen. Long story short : car burned out. Snif. Wife is ok though so that is a big plus.

Stupid enough you can then find your car in the news: http://www.gelrenieuws.nl/2015/01/fikse-autobrand-arnhem.html

Also some positive news: i found this lampparts:

Well wife is more important than the car. Please give her our regards.

Still not all bad if you manage to turn up a do nut.

    Neil.

The main thing is that your wife is ok... I guess the car is now the inurance company's problem... Good find with the parts, especially the donut' lamp...

Not quite as drastic, but I had a coil spring snap in half on my car and also needed to get two new tyres so that's £300 I won't see again! Happy 2015...

    Nice lamp though

    Hello Juan,

yes they will. But our passat was special: being from 2001, it only had 135000km. That is for a diesel engine just "broke in".
It was an ex lease car from my brother. booohh

We are now in "the feight" to get as much from the insurance as possible.

Good luck. I have 277,000 miles (461,666 km) on my Subaru, and it's like family to me. You're right, you just had your car broke in.
