Hehku Made Metalli-Koura Finland in the 1950s. Bring a piece of history to life. Hehku lantern that we now have in full restored working condition. The burner and vapourizer parts are identical to Tilley models. Enjoy
I think that on those days they just copied them from Tilley and made them by self. They also might used parts from a Finish company called Petro-Valo(=Kerosene-Light) that made spare parts for Tilley & Optimus/Primus/Petromax(/Preston loop) type of lanters. Maybe Niko has seen if there is any Petro-Valo stampings on parts.
I'm a bit surprised Tilley didn't go after them if that was the case - they're an exact copy! I've seen spare parts made by Petro-Valo Oy for Veritas lanterns (and have some here) but not any of the others you mention...
Maybe on 50's companies were not so eager on those copying matters. Also I am not sure if Tilley has patented their structure and was the patent still valid. In this web page on 9th photo from top you can see parts made by Petro-Valo Oy: Light Bringer Gazebo I have couple to those Preston loop ones and just the top cup for Tilley burner from Petro-Valo Oy. Also I have stove jets and lantern needles (Optimus/Primus/Petromax style) made by Petro-Valo Oy (or at leats in their packages I am not sure if they actually manufactured them. )
