    Deliberately conning.
I have repeatedly told him what it is but he refuses to change listing.

There's that small badge in the photos, but he's failed to reveal meaningful details...

The shield has Tilley Hendon. Maybe he thinks that is Hendon station. Certainly a 1930s OL50 and not a 500cp. ::Neil::

    Hi

No he didn't win it, some unsuspecting person won it.

Why should Ebay do something about this ? It's earning them more money !!!! Bearing in mind they are a mega million dollar company, it would take hundreds of millions to sue them, and they know it.

Nobody in the UK has that sort money to sue, only in US courts. Bearing in mind it is a US company, they would get a pat on the back.

Statelands bid on one of my items last year, I did the honourable thing,in fairness to other bidders, removed his bid - left a message why his bid was removed ( known shill bidder)unfortunately only he could see the reason why the bid was removed, when clicking on the bid history.

That's why ebay don't like members contacting each other in case someone tells him that the price has been hiked up.

I know you are an honourable seller Kenny, I dealt with you a long time ago - couple of Optimus twin burner stoves remember, you cancelled a shipping agents bid - honesty is always the best policy.

I like the fact he's even re-used the description right down to stating that he's made it.

    Yep

Statelands 123 tried first , but he snuck in under my radar as "camping fishing cooking" again & yes it was Mr Brinkley , but he readily coughed up £79 pounds for a lamp that cost me £2.60 , a burner £1 , a homemade riser £1 & £1.99 for a QD chrome trivet so i didn't do too badly out of the deal :D/

He did however contact me to say he'd buy any more i had laying around , but that aint goin to happen no sireeee :!: :!: :!:

If he gets £125 for it, you'll sell them yourself for that Stu. Cut out the middle man. You could trap him, make one that doesn't work, braze the end of the feed tube or something.

Possibly he's just de-registered himself, Ian, and his next new identity is waiting in the wings to fox us all for a while.

But I've every confidence you'll winkle him out for us, though...

Notice that "lanterns_stoves_vapalux" is also no longer registered. I don't know since when though. "Camping_fishing_cooking" is still going strong. We need to work on that one too.

Well what a suprise , Mr Brinkley has now shafted me as he opened an Ebay case against me for selling him a Tilley stove replica that didn't work or so he says  , so i made him send it back for me to check before issuing a refund  to my suprise all that was wrong was a damaged Tilley NRV valve which had somehow pushed through itself [-X

    1424197097-DSCF6795_opt.jpg

maybe due to age or damage caused by the buyer which will remain a mystery

This however is working fully with no problems as can be seen 8)

I know it's a stove but it's the point i'm just trying to put across if you want to stop this person or persons bidding on your stuff use the link here to block them & life will be a bit simpler.........

Mr Brinkleys sudenames/aliases are earlier in the post , lets not give him anymore chances to mess us about

Do you think it could be foul play because he didn't sell it for the price he was asking? So broke it and sent it back. :-k

Send it to me, I'll give it a good home. :D

He's going to wreck his 95% customer satisfaction rate if someone buys this as an Ol51. Am I right thinking someone here has told him before that he's wrong and he ignored them? :-k

Thought as much. I wonder what his game is with that? It's not even as if it comes with a 500cp vapouriser and burner and even if it did it would still be wrong.
