I have a very nice Vapalux. When I light it it runs very bright for some minutes but after a while the light dims and the mixing chamber became red dull, so the combustion happens there. Any idea how to avoid it?

Strangely my phone coloured it blue instead of red.

Clean burner or replace burner. It's fix.

Hello Juan, part of your burner may be loose and it may be the mixing tube which is located inside the mixing dome, but if that is the problem then the lantern will smell of paraffin/kerosene.

It's worth taking the burner apart and cleaning it and rebuilding it all tightly, but if that does not fix it then your burner may be burned out, Jeff.

I had the same problem, mixing dome glowed red! Couldn't find anything wrong but changed it and it ran fine!
