hi, can anyone tell me the difference in length of the upper vapourizer tube of the anchor 500cp and the 650cp, and do you know the lengths of hand thanx , paul. and is there a scorce of cleaning needles number 68 on this forum thanx , paul.
Hi Paul, i have many Chinese clone Petromax lanterns, including Anchors, but unless i have missed something with all of these lanterns there is not such a thing as a 650cp vaporizer as compared to a 500cp version, others may know better, 68 needles, they are in abundance on ebay, regards Frank
Do you mean the difference in length between the 350cp and the 500cp? I have both anchors, one 350 and one 500, so, I will check today for you when I've got a minute. Base-Camp have all the spares you need and they are competitively priced*. The needles are only £1.65. *No affiliation, just a happy customer. Update: The 500cp upper vapouriser is about 5mm taller than the 350cp vapouriser. HTH!

When I obtained a few, perhaps 20 years ago, they had 4 models and as HighlandDweller and Outback Boy have said, just 350 and 500 candle power. 999 - 350cp 975 - 500cp 909 - 350cp 950 - 500cp Each of these also can come with or without a reflector. Tingkwon is a very, very similar Chinese brand and they have a cleaning needle part 68 the same as Anchor. However they also have models for two different fuels (not dual fuel) and apart from 350 and 500 models they also have a 250cp (model 821).
To clarify, mine are a 909 350cp and a 950 500cp. I have never quite understood why they manufactured a separate cage, globe and vapouriser for the 350cp, while using common parts for the rest of the lamp.
