Got my first lamp today with another 2 on the way. Nothing special I know but got to start somewhere. Very pleased with condition as it was only £15 which I think would be worth it for parts alone. The other 2 I have bought have already been refurbished (as opposed to restored), but this one will be a nice little project for me as a beginner. The seller actually sent it through the post with the tank full of paraffin!!! and none of it leaked.

Welcome to CPL and the interesting world of lamps and lanterns. A nice one to start with. Ditch the kerosene though and put fresh in if you don't know how long it has been there. Plenty of information in CPL about this model and brand.
    Good luck.

Yes a good place to start...

X246Bs tend to breed though, so be careful....
