What is the correct vapouriser for the TL106? I have a mix and would have thought the 169 enabled easier lighting.

    Cheers

I can't say I've ever noticed any diffference on my TL136 which is essentially a shorter version of the TL106...

I use the 606 because they are still being made, are more easily available and personally I think it looks better.

The early bug guard with a collar and flat spring makes the pre-heat clip difficult to use with the shorter 606 vaporizer

You people with insects the size of geese...

I've never used a bug screen on mine even outside, it's not as major an issue here in the UK.

Just those damn nats at Newark that turn your table black after an evening of lamping.

No need for a bug screen here either - the midgies and corn lice go straight for the human.

I live on an island with few street lights and not that many houses. As a consequence it is very dark of a night.

I've seen things hanging around my porch light that I suspect are unknown to science. Things you hope never land on you or you never see again.

    Thanks Matty

I knew I had asked the question previously but couldn't find the thread.

I do like to use insect screens as the smell of cooked moth is not appreciated by the "boss".

    Cheers

    Funny.

My boss picked up a lamp from the seller today. She rings me and says I thought you liked old lamps. I said I do. She said well this one looks brand new why did you buy it..........
