Evening All, Had a quick light up tonight. Second time my Relum Magnalux has been lit and it was performing much better tonight. This is using an Anchor mantle. Also lit up the Tilley Carrigas lamp. Something a little different and hassle free with no meths or paraffin required! This is using a Coleman mantle and is surprisingly bright. Hope these are of interest. Regards David
Thanks. Yes was verging on sunglasses required Jeff! :-) I will post some more pics of the Carrigas soon, I am not sure it is a Tilley product, perhaps I have incorrectly referenced it. Hi Jorgen I remembered I had posted up on the Carrigas lamp when I got it a few years ago. I would say it definitely isn't a Tilley product, so apologies for the slightly misleading description. Apparently there are a few of these around, I have seen a couple on Ebay. My original post didn't produce any further information on these lamps. They must have been buying parts in from Tilley and adding on the bottom casing and possibly the valve to allow the fitting of the gas cartridge. All the best David
