Millspec from WW II

    Here is my Milspec . I think she is produced in 1944 . Is marked with "Aladdin Conversion 1944" 1297541855-Millspec.JPG 1297541881-Name.JPG

    That's great, Roland - we discussed these here (although I was talking to myself most of the time!)

    I wondered where the conversion burners were marked and thanks to you, now I know. :thumbup: I've had a look at my two AGM milspecs and used a wire brush to clean the burners where they were marked. They're also Aladdin conversions although the year marking isn't clear on either.

    My Akron Diamond milspec is too far rusted to make anything out...

    My first MilSpec purchase was a 1945 AGM no markings on the burner, but the fount had seven stress fractures so I have since replaced it with one from a Coleman 220F....
