    Right.

That is a little confusing until you have been told as per your reply because the smilies show up and you assume you can use them.

You can get to Smilies in Quick Reply - just need a link clicking to bring up a pop-up with them in.

Compared to what's available in forums & social media these days this package is showing it's age, but it's done us well.

Due to the short time before CPLv2 no fixes or enhancements will be carried out on v1.

Unless folk associate your wanted ad with this post they may not know what lamp you require a locating bush for. I've added alink.

I hope you all have logged into CCS to see the wonderful new platform that CPL will be using.
Everything is so much easier and with masses more facilities.

just picked up at my local carboot. 3 more lamps.
well parts lamps. one had a very good glass no chips etc. one had a good top no chips or rust and a lovely carrying handle. but best was the guardsman with a nice locating bush and control cock. the outer frames are very rusty, would it be worth saving them???

also noticed that the top of my chromed lamp base it has been soldered and the (new) bush wont fit in very well. so going to use the other tank which i got today. total price for these was £4 bargin i thought :D

Given your selection of part lamps, I would get the best components into one lamp, and see what you're left wtth.

The very rusty cages can usually be restored, either by electrolysis or vigorous scrubbing with a steel brush, then painting with silver paint. I've never come across one that is so rusty it cannot be salvaged.

Edit: my comments refer to X246 and X246A not the X246B...
