I'd hesitate to describe The Fettlebox as a "company". One man and a boy cottage industry is nearer the mark, methinks. :D

No hint of criticism intended by that description incidentally - it's run on a very professional basis, the products are excellent and the prices are most reasonable. I use them myself, wherever possible, in preference to all other outfits...

Me too, they have what I need and at very reasonable prices. The service is "TOP GRADE", too!
They pulled me out of more than one jam!

Fettle box has got a good few mentions. That all fine if you have a british lamp but they don't stock for Petromax etc. How could we as a group progress this sone that maybe Colag, Hytta etc could offer discounts to paid up members? It would also act as an incentive for non subscribers to subscribe

Fettlebox has a good few products yet to add.

Thing is I make the washers. Give me the dimensions of what you need & I'll add them. I do washers for all sorts of things - blowlamps, vintage motor bikes, stationary engines & stuff I've never heard off. Folk give me the dimensions, material required & we take it from there. No minimum order if I have the tooling & prices in line with regular stock. Even then I may forego the minimum order cost if I think the item will be a good seller. If it's something that will become a new line you may even get a free sample!

I can actually do the Petromax seals although I only have the lid seal listed. Except for one thing, maybe. I noticed the latest NRV holder has a small spike the pip is mounted on. I'd not be able to make a pip with that fine a hole. I believe the pip & holder come as one now? Maybe someone more learned can advise?

I may not be the biggest or the fastest but I'm sure I'm in the minority for the service I can offer.

Me again with my admin hat on. All suppliers I'm aware of were asked if they wanted to have a link with discrete banner in the sponsors area half way down the forum - see http://classiccampstoves.com/ & at a negligable double digit price per year. Links had been previosuly given free of charge to all but one sponsor with a banner.

Only one has replied - in the negative as they are no longer providing the service.

I don't hold out much hope of discounts for forum members from them either.
