it seems i will never get the hang of the picture thing so i think from now i will be silent and just read the posts from other members plus the trade and sell sections as i would hate to upset any one as when i screw up the picture thing ;
Hail Stormy. My names is Captain Mike De Long aand I live aboard an all wood, 58ft trawler in Hampton, Virginia. I could use two things for my Work Horse lantern, the generator (vaporizer as you Brits call it), and the intake 'manifold' that the generator fits into. My email address here in the states is: globesearch@bigplanet.com.....I can also be 'Skyped' at reinholds1944. Frankly, I know it can be a pain in the ass to ship internationally, but I really could use these parts. Thank you, Captain Mike aboard my beloved 'Covenant' in Hampton, Virginia.
Yes, that's strange. I always assumed that Stormie was American. Springfield could of course be anywhere, but surely the MO is for Missouri?
besides there captain mike or whom ever you call your self the parts were sent to you in a trade if you don't recall some time back
i go by that names due to my youngest daughter was always fast and that was her nick name ;she was killed here a few years back by a drunk driver who decided to run a stop sign loosing a child so young is hard on any parent ;
My condolences for the loss of your daughter. You will get the hang of posting photos, so do keep the posts coming, Jeff.
now that we have this straighten out thanks guys for the kind comments 'dave your funny a cartoon figure ;pictures i have even of my new akron model 106-G but always problems trying to down load them ;but i will try'and yes lets not forget my coleman table lamp looks rather nice next to the 106
Got one myself last summer. Had to tighten a few things up to cut down on the drippies. Its got to be one of the brightest lanterns I own. Put a peerless 111 on there and its a ripper. A bit of an oddball Petromax clone but it serves its purpose. Btw, keep an eye on the air tube up top near the jet, it likes to move after a while and this messes up the mixture and can make black mantles.
