Went to the coast yesterday, beautiful day made even more pleasant by finding this lamp in an antique shop. Looks like a Nu-Lite to me but can anyone tell me the Model and year?
Jean, Nice catch ! This is the Nulite 110 M table lamp (M for match lighting). The font and umbrella generator indicates a 1923 to late 20,s version (often with a flat burner frame). With that single rod frame (angled straight air tube) it may indicate a bit earlier transition model pre 1923. That earlier single rod burner frame model had often a lower font and a match lighting coiled generator like the Coleman Q99. /Conny
The 110M lamp with burner with rod support is illustrated in the 1919 catalogue with a coil generator. By 1923 the burner has a flat frame support. I am not sure when this model was introduced but it has to be around 1917-1919 and was replaced by the flat frame type around 1922 ish. ::Neil::
Should run OK. It has the look of a lamp that has never seen much use. After many hours burning the control wheels generally show evidence of heat damage and this one looks nice and clean. It has a good burner/generator system which generally fettles well. ::Neil::
