You really need to get yourself a scanner. We have a lot of catalogues on CCS, but if this one isn't presented there already, you should post it. I'm sure it would be appreciated.
Ok. This specimen from 1925(!) is so fraglie that scanning isnt an option. But ill photo it from back to back.
I see. You should try to place the catalogues on the floor and position yourself on a chair or such and make sure you take the photos in the vertical line directly above the centre of the page you're working on. That way the distortion we see in the above will be much lesser. But it is of course also pretty easy to correct that distortion in e.g. Photoshop. For those who have missed the Primus section at CCS, it's here (and on a second page). 1925 is missing there, so it would make a great compliment.
If I remember correctly, there is also a couple of pages with lamp adapters to fit on stoves in this catalogue. I have seen a couple of poor quality images so so better photos would be good.
Hmmm. If i reduce the size of the pictures to what i would say is lowest possible to be readable its still like 400kb/pic and its 40 pics. In original resolution its 61Mb for the 40 pics. How post it all?
It is not 40 pics that are lamp related in that catalogue. Just one or two. If you wan't you can post those to me, and I can adapt them for this site. Or you can try the image optimizer. The bulk of this catalogue is stoves (kokapparater), and if you intend to post it at CCS, you will find that it won't be any problems at all to upload a whole lot of large files there. CCS use another forum platform, and it is much easier to upload files to the site.
Fjellot, Have you tried to use the image optimiser as Christer suggests? It's a pretty decent tool and easy to use. It must be easy to use as I have worked with it successfully.
