Raise the Fettling Flag! After a thorough and tedious rebuild and fabricating a Draft Shield from an old Grease Gun Tube, as well as, adding a Pre-Heat Cup from Neighbor Al, another vintage Tilley R55 Radiator is throwing glorious heat! I'm SO happy! Amazed that it fired up on the first attempt, too! I'm gonna have to wait for warmer weather to repaint the old girl, but in the mean time, it'll be a welcome addition to my formerly very cold garage! Here's a couple of pics!

Being new to all of this Jeff, rather than me having said "after a thorough and tedious rebuild", should I have said, "after a thorough and tedious fettle"? I certainly do want to use the proper terminology, so that we're all on the correct page around here!

To give credit where credit is due, the pre-heat cup was made by Stu (Loco7lamp). I just buy enough of them from him and bring them over to get an economy of scale on the shipping. I'd normally have restocked on these kinds of items by now to help folks out during the holidays, but the farm has been taking my attention.
