Hi all Ive recently bought another Tilley 246 lantern, this one is intended to be a gift for the father inlaw, he had Tilleys as a kid and l thought he might get a kick out of fettling one for himself. I decided to pull it apart before gifting it to him just to make sure it was all there and in good nick. Anyway l discovered that the filter screen at the base of the Nrv/control cock is wrecked. Can the screen be replaced? or do l need to find a new part. Is the screen even really that important. As its a Chrissy gift for now l'll just pull a replacment from one of mine, but thats only a temporary solution. Grant
