Good luck Fjellot. I believe they are very similar to the Australian Aladdin. Therefore the thread should be M 2x.4 mm. I use 0.015" spring wire for the needle for Aladdin.

    1455554112-IMG_20160215_160957-600x800.jpg The hardware:
1.5x1.5mm brassrods from ebay and 0.17mm resistance wire from ebay. Not expensive.

    The how:
Since the rods are only 1.5mm wide it presented it self as a problem to making the cut for the wire. if i would use the smallest dremel disc i found it still would remove over 1/3 of the material in the rod. What i did was to take a knife blade, the kind you use when laying floorcarpet. I used another blade to make dents in the edge of the blade.

Then i took a gardenscissors and made a grove in the rod where the cut for the wire should be. I then use the blade to cut the grove into the rod.

Finaly i place i piece of wire in the groove, and while holding the wire down into the groove i use a pair of pliers to squeeze the groove shut. Then cut the wire to the right length and cut of the almost finished cleaningneedle from the rod at the right lenght. Finaly use a M2 cutting tool to make the screwgrooves at the end of it and have a final check.

    Looks like the real deal.

How do you do with the wire tip after cutting it?
    It should be flattened.
It might work with a whetstone if you can fix the wire firmly just below the tip of it.

I use a used jet, turned it upside down and only using the needles weight sanding it gently against a wet fine sandstone.

I have used a very fine stone wheel in my dremmel. Lightly touch the needle to the wheel while twisting the needle in my fingers.
