    This is an un-fired example of a Canadian Coleman Model 237 "Empire" lantern, dated 10/62.

    Hi Doron! This example is one of the few lanterns in the collection that came from another collector here in Winnipeg. He was selling off the bulk of his collection at a local flea market. I believe I purchased about 12 lanterns from him over a period of weeks, including the Model 236 which is posted in the lamp reference gallery.
