Sounds like the pump needs a new check valve (nrv) rubber piece and possibly some new washers. Those can be had from the fettlebox on ebay. It sounds like the valve is letting fuel back into the pump, suggesting a leak. Look to the right hand side here for the link to the fettlebox online store.

    Good luck!

Cigarman is correct. You need to service your non-return valve on the pump.

Take out the pump; unscrew the bottom of the pump and replace the rubber pip. Make sure it is seated properly.

    Cheers

    OK

    1. Make sure that the rubber pip is soft (not hard).

    2. Stretch the spring about 15%.

    3. Make sure everything is clean.

    4. Try again.

    Saludos

The rubber seal is the most common cause, but the pump cylinder can develop a split.

Examine it carefully and/or put the lower end in a bucket of water, hold a finger over the seat of the sea, increase the pump pressure and you may see bubbles.
