I went to the Base-Camp website to look for something and the first thing I saw was that Lenny The Lamp (Lenny Ralph) had died recently. I knew he was ill and had been for the past few years but it's still a bit of a shock... http://www.base-camp.co.uk/ I didn't know Lenny too well but I always found him to be a decent bloke, very helpful (i.e. keen to sell me something!) and hugely enthusiastic about lamps in general. That's sad news David, never met the chap myself, but knew him to of been a well renowned, and respected collector My condolences to his family also
I'm so sad to hear about Lenny. He and his wife popped in to visit John and I a few summers ago when they were in this area. He certainly knew his stuff.
