Following on from the thread about the Coleman gassie yesterday, I thought I'd post these other unloved gassies to see if anyone else knows what they are:- No. 1 - quite easy I'd have thought (sorry about the dust! :- No.2 - a bit more difficult. It looks like an amateur bodge-up but this is exactly how it left the factory :- No.3 - my best chance of a pointless answer and thus win the jackpot :-
Dave, I think it's a 5152 made sometime in the 1980's. I'm not a fan of the propane types so I am probably wrong. They had a tapered globe.
Ooh, very close PB. It's a 5152C700A but I've no idea what the final letter means. Maybe one of the Coleman enthusiasts will know... Edit: - I guess you edited your post and added the final letter. Well done - you win a small prize which you can collect tomorrow from me, personally, at Newark...

Dave, I have a 5152A700. I'd be interested in seeing the burner head on yours. Mine has a curved tube, and a slotted conical heat shield with a German made Coleman glass. I have seen one with the same valve and with a formed cup and cover type of head with straight drop tubes. Mine also has a plastic base designed to accept either form of 16 oz propane canister.
The valve assembly bears a striking similarity to the ones produced by Dexagas, but their products where very utilitarian. I then remembered that Calor took over the line and they might just have had enough cause to make it a bit more pretty for the public. Even if I were to leave now, I doubt I would be in Newark by midnight, so you will have to keep your prize. The third lamp screams French at me for some reason, I would think it fits a large cylinder, possibly a Jet Gaz product that I've not seen before. HD

It briefly crossed my mind, but I'd never seen any reference to a Weedex lamp, so I dismissed it and didn't pursue it further. Well, David it seems you get to claim your pointless prize!
