    Congratulations. A desirable piece.

However, it's a pity that whoever won it on that auction site appears to have collude with the seller and broken the site rules in order to secure it, turning an auction with live bids into a BIN by cancelling any bidders and then relisting it BIN for the buyer to snap up at his offer price.

I have to agree that once someone has bid on the lamp it's not very sporting to offer a buy it now price, and it is the same lamp in question....

Yes it's a shady practice that I have fallen fowl to more times than I can count especially on lanterns, most recently in April where I had almost £60 of bids in .I payed the buy it now price not that it is any kangaroo court judges business! ! :-# :-# :-#

Well lucky you to spot it within the 5 minutes it was alive, and have no hesitation on spending that £ on it. Once again, congratulations on a desirable item...

Live auctions are not allowed... this is completed.

I got excited when I saw this one on eBay.
