    Greetings,

Very happy to announce that a forgotten Unimet Heater, is once again throwing amazing heat! Absolutely thrilled and impressed with the results and Heat Output of this old Heater. She sure cleaned up nice! Fired up on the first attempt, after a thorough fettle and installing of it's missing Manometer. Very special thanks to Bo Ryman, for his help with fit proper fit and function and supplying, not only the needed Manometer, but an NOS Manometer, to boot! It certainly fit the bill and works precisely and I'm finding I like it's accuracy, over the Tilley "Pip" pressure indicator design.

But for the Manometer and Ceramic Insulator Tube, as well as, the Pump Handle I fabricated, the unit is completely original, including all Seals and Pump Leather, all working as required!

Again, the old technology worked like a champ and the Heater roared to life, on the first attempt at firing it up. Perhaps "roared", isn't the correct word, as I'm finding that it's much quieter than my Tilley R55's and R1A. Only lower in sound output though, as it's heat output is second to none!

Thanks to all who helped with my research and their expertise and again, very special thanks to Bo Ryman!

    Enjoy the pics,
    Steve
