    Hi all
I found this AGM in France.
A good clean and some paint, here it is.
I have some questions about this lamp.

    1467623641-IMG_5348.JPG 1467623705-IMG_5347.JPG 1467623721-IMG_5341.JPG 1467623736-IMG_5343.JPG 1467623753-IMG_5345.JPG

The generator is pulsing a little
What could I do to stop that effect or at least limit it ?
I have not many informations about this brand, where could I find ?
What are the production years ?
What is the power of this lamp ? 300 CP ?

You can't see because I have turned the glass, but it is broken.
Is it possible to find such a glass ?

    Many thanks for the advices

    Hi Michel,

According to Terry M.,s site, a 40,s made lantern. This lantern is also present in a 1947/49 "Repair parts and supplies catalog".

Have you tried a generator restoration with some kind of packing to prevent pulsing?

    Check if glascylinders for coleman 220, 228, 235, 290, 295, 2600 would fit

    Hi and thanks
    Ok, the 40's.
I own a Coleman 220, the glass is a little more narrow, not much but 2/3 mm in all dimensions.

This model first appears in a Hardware advert datet 1948. The AGM parts catalogue is 1947 but revised in 1949 so 1948 as the introduction year for 2572 seems to be right. ::Neil::

    Thanks Neil
    so 1948 is noted
Is it possible to find AGM glasses somewhere ?

What could I use in order to refill the generator ?

Original AGM glass is not easy to find. Better to look for a Coleman of the right size.

Not sure what that generator has inside. Just about anything you insert will help. Rolled brass mesh woudl probably be best. ::Neil::
