The burner on this looks very like the four air tube burner in a Unic lamp. It would be interesting to see one of these burners out of the lamp to compare it with the one I showed for my big Unic No 8. ::Neil::
Hello Neil, I know three Types of Bre Burners. The oldest One with hand-email-painted Shade. Some Years later comes this One. and the last and most known Version is this: Hope thats help... Cheers Peter
Good images and thanks. Not really the same as Unic but you can see they are not so very different. ::Neil::
Very nice lamp Peter. I am looking for one Is the outboard tank filled with gasoline? And how does the pumpsystem look? Is this lamp preheated and how? Claus C
The other side of the burner, than where the fuel comes in, has this round wheel with a shaft in. http://0flo.com/index.php?posts/7097 I can see a coil on the shaft - is somethig missing here and what is the purpose of this big lump of wheel Claus C
I am not sure what you are talking about but the big wheel is for the needle system patent n° FR477503A juin (june) 1914
Ok Thanks Michel . It is part number g and e, I mean. The handle and the shaft. I think this misses at my lamp and g seems to miss on all the lamps above. I will soon post my Bre so you can see. Claus C
