    Hi all,
yesterday I finished fettling my first Ditmar Table Lamp. The stamping on the bottom says 06 3 which should date it to June 1933. The nickel plating was heavily oxidised, but after a gentle polish it turns out nicely. And it has some of its nice patina:

The green shade was a leftover from an earlier akquisition and fits that lantern perfectly:

Yesterday evening I lit her up and she ran fine with kerosene/paraffin. It is rated at 200HK.

And this was like she looked when I got her. To be honest I had to cannibalise another 531 from the same period to obtain a complete top hood, glass globe and handle.

All that hard work and the probably difficult search for spares, really paid of Martin.
The lamp is a absolute stunner and I love the photo with the shade on.
    Well done
