I thought about making one of those. Does anyone know if a M14 x 0.75 tap will cut a thread for a Primus burner?

is correct. I have used a Chinese one off Ebay and it cut a usable thread but the quality is not good. Worked ok on brass :D/ but I tore the teeth off it on steel :rage: . You need to go real slow and plenty of lubricant. ](*,)

Amazon are selling A HSS version, but they'll sting you £15 for it though
