1953 Primus 1084S

Hello everyone, Finaly i got me one of the elusive bluetops,



I like this one it's special, even though it's a Petroclone, also it runs very bright ! The lantern is as found, but the fuel cap is probably of a later date. Frederik

Oh sorry Buddy, the year is 1953 (stamped AS) And this is a 450cp lantern. I use a 500cp Anchor mantle and the 1084S puts out alot of light, more than many of my 500 cp lanterns.

That looks to have cleaned up very nicely. Congratulations.

You are right about the filler cap. If you can find a scrap 1082 it is the same type.
