I cannot find a listing for a wall lamp in the Solex catalogue, so I was a bit suspicious of this lamp, but it seems fairly legit.

So, you bought it. I wanted it so bad, but I spent too much money at that time and I left it... well at least it's in good hands.

Never seen before, but it looks absolutely original and beautiful.

It's nice to see that the tank could be replaced with a solex 300 one in case it's not good. It's identical to my solex 300 lanterns.

    Good luck with the restoration.

    Cheers,

    Nicola

Yes a Solex, without any doubt
    very interesting lamp
It could be a good idea to open a specific gallery for Italy now, don't you think ?

A quick polish and the usual fettling and it runs well. Not the easiest lamp to light, as it doesn't have a pricker or an on/off tap.

    Well done James.
It's nice to see something a little different and now that it's been cleaned and polished, it looks good.

    Henry.
