    1967 Day-Lite 500 CP
    Made by Metallwarenfabrik Meyer & Niss in Hamburg-Bergedorf, Germany.
    Jena'er Suprax Glass
    * I recovered this from a renovation project. It was complete and in great condition so I decided to clean it up and take some good pics before I got rid of it. I believe the previous owner made the wood case. It's been in storage since the mid 1980's so it was a cool find. The original tool/spare part bag was in there unopened. Just thought I'd share the pics and info I have for other enthusiasts. Thanks for the cool forums!

    Very nice, does funnel have a storage place in box so as not to scratch font?

    The funnel isn't capable of scratching the chrome. It's a softer metal. An old trick for polishing chrome is to buff it with a piece of wet aluminum foil. It oxidises with friction and restores perfect mirror finishes.

    Oh what a cool lantern ! The top vent looks different, do you have a photo taken on the vent, from the top ?
