Cinema lamp ???

Hi !
I have this image from a lamp collector in netherlands and wanted to know more ,not sure if Theo own's these lamps or just got chance to take photo of these strange beastie's ?
He thinks they are part of cinema projection lamps !
Sorry if they turn out to be blow lamps but I'll go along with the idea maybe they are projection lamps.
Small picture no idea how to make it bigger !

Yes the one to the right is a Barthel for sure. Cinema is probably not right though as the light would never be enough for that. The considered wisdom on these is either they are for magic lanterns/slide projectors, or possibly for microscope slide illumination. The one to the left may be an aftermarket modification and with am inverted mantle could be more powerful perhaps. ::Neil::

Yes Erik is faster than I am but then he is just a youth. You get slower as you get older. At least I have certanly slowed down. ::Neil::

 

The lamp on the left looks very similar to this Focus brand lamp:

Ín fact, the left lamp is a "Focus 05", made in Badalona (Catalonia / still Spain)
