...we would discover what lamp is this! No marks. Only "ERMEX" writed on the glass. ERMEX was a glass producer. I supose is a gasoline lamp. Even last owner painted, but original green paint is still visible.
Certainly a Standard, most probably a 2045 which runs on gasoline/petrol. However this one misses the usual preheater which operates with gasoline/petrol vapour from the tank. Instead it has a meths cup mounted which imho should make it more "usable" (if orientated in the right way). I cannot see clearly whether there was another hole on top of the tank, where one of the previous owners has removed the original preheater (and installed the meths cup), or if that could have already been done in the factory. And it was badly lacquered. The tank should be green, same colour as the enameled globe cage and hood. The shade seems to be homemade. BR, Martin
