    Hello All,
Recently found this unusual Globe, for the U.S.A. anyway and would appreciate some help in finding out what type of appliance it's used on. It will be available for acquisition!

    Thanks,
    Stovost

Internal gas globe, just like the one I'm looking for since I cracked the globe on mine.

    Hello,

Many of the early portable pressure lamps and hollow wire lamp systems used the shades that were available at that time and therefore you can see shades from wick kerosene/oil lamps as well as from gas lamps.
This shade looks as it could have been used for a gas lamp fixture.
You can see that type of shade on an early Gloria HW fixture, the Nr.20 Gloria. I have such a lamp with a similar shade and you can see it 44620[/ATTACH]

    Al,

Unsure of your unit of measurement, but here in the States the dimensions are:

    5 inches Tall
    4 inches Wide
    3 1/4 inch Opening

    Hope that helps!

    Steve
