Does anyone know the correct green paint for a Bialaddin 305 lamp? I have been looking at shades from BS381c as this was the current British Standard when most of these lamps were made.
I am sure someone here has the definitive standards for this and other lamps.

There probably isn't a definitive standard for any lamp or lantern colour and it's quite likely there will have been variations over time direct from the manufacturer. In addition to that, the exact shade of any lamp colour will have faded over the years with use and exposure to sunlight.

I simply take my lamps to a decent motor factor and ask them to find the nearest match from the range of automobile colours available today. I try to find a bit that's been covered up over the years and match that area. Then they make up an aerosol rattle can of that shade for me. Bob's yer uncle, Fanny's yer aunt... :D

Thanks for the advice, however I will still try to identify the colour as I have more than a suspicion it's from BS381c. Spent many years restoring railway locomotives of a similar vintage and have found this BS most useful for identifying colours used on them.
The paint underneath the faunt cleaned up should provide a decent reference for the original paint.
