Run with kerosene or electricity?

    Looks like hurricane lamps converted to run on battery and probably LED lights. They wouldn't trust a 'celebrity' with a flame.

    Looks like LED (cold light) to me too and his hands too close to top for a hot lamp.

    notice that they use frosted glass so you can't see flame just like in harry potter films frosted glass so you cant see the globe etc battery powered .

    Sat down with the kids a few weeks ago, watching the 80ies movie "The Goonies". In that movie the kids in the story is making their way through some underground caves, with a few coleman lamps as help. Extremely durable mantels used for sure as the lantern is tossed and dragged. And, marking the spot, is when on is holding, cradling, the lantern, holding his hand on the top hat :)

    a local pound shop type place sells led iluminated huricane lamps for a fiver,i got one for my 3 year old for camping,he loves it,we also found a scouts centenery led hurricane lamp at the carboot sale.
