Hi Folks, I thought I'd show an image of my example of this rare lamp.

    Thanks, ENJOY!

That is a very fine example.

    Have you lit it?

Not many of these around. I know of maybe 6 in the UK and 8 or so in the US. What I have never understood is they are far harder to find than some other Coleman lamps and yet never seem to be valued as such. Last couple I saw sell went for about 10% of the value of a Coleman Arc lantern and that is a lamp I have seen dozens of. ::Neil::

Hi Tony, yes, I lit it when I first got it in. Failed to take a pic, before I dug into it and cleaned it up. Runs real nice though.

Neil, I find that interesting as well, that the selling prices of a few that I've seen sold, in the last 4-5 years, have not been much higher. I think it is mere exposure. They just aren't seen. Mine came up at a buy it now (incredible price)on ebay and I don't think I need to say, it lasted only as long as it took for me to click & pay. :-)

Yes a rare and undervalued lamp. A pity really as I know a lady sitting on three which will have to be sold and she is not going to get what I consider they should be worth. ::Neil::

It's a lamp I've overlooked, but now that I've seen one so nicely presented, I would quite like one for myself.
