20/30,s Succes 5 liter hollow wire tank

    Hi all,

    I have several hollow wire tanks, but these are very big - 25 liter - and not very suitable for hobby lighting. Now I have aquired a smaller 1920/30,s French "Succes" hollow wire tank of 5 liter; perfect for lighting tries of my hollow wire lamps. Attached you find a comparison image of the Succes 5 liter tank to a big 25 liter French Lilor tank.

    ..........from a 1926 Succés catalogue (Neil MC Rae); different tank sizes - 5 liters ( 3 liters of gasoline and 2 liters of air)

    Great collection of French hollow wire tanks, Peter. Now that I have a useful small size hollow wire tank, I don´t need another one. I don´ have the space needed also to collect more hollow wire tanks.
