Generator identification

Hi, looking for an identification of these 2 generators that came in with a group of Coleman parts. I'm thinking that these are generators for the Coleman Yale arc lantern as shown on this Terry Marsh Coleman page, second photo. Thanks.

Yes Gloria for sure. Good find because these are rare things. ::Neil::

 

The Terry marsh page linked to, does state that some Yale arc lanterns used the burner support and generator as found on some Gloria light co appliances. It also shows what looks to be a very similar generator, so I would say that it does both.

 

The Gloria ones are 112mm long if that helps.

 

Thanks for the measurement Anthony. These 2 generators are 92 mm in length with KK stamped on one of the facets of the gas tip hex end.

 

Probably Knight Light then, many parts and lamps shared with Gloria. My three Gloria generators are around 11 cm, depending on how much threads are left. 83 mm between the threaded outer ends.

Thanks Conny, had a look at some of the early Knight Light adverts which appear to have that type generator. As Gloria and Knight were big in Australia think I'll post a question over on Matt's site;

Yes, my Gloria generator has the tapered thread at the bottom.

KK is possibly the generator for the Knight Light model KK table lamp. That will make them 300cp kero generators. ::Neil::

 

Neil you are probably right of them to be KK kero generators. I took a look at my KK Knight Light lamp generator and compared to the Gloria generator the gas tips are different.
Probably round for kero and hex for petrol/gasoline.Mine has the same length and both have tapered threaded connectors.

Here is a better photo of one of these generators showing length at 3 9/16 inch or 90.5 mm and the KK gas tip.
