Nulite 5M

    Here we have one Nulite 5M, M standing for match preheated.
    probably made in the mid 1920' to early 1930's

    Good working lantern !

    I have a similar lantern. just got the replacement umbrella gen. from OCP. Do you have info on other parts sources?

    Nice cousin to the colemans...how Insta lite is it? Did you paint the bail and mount? Nice lantern! Are these rare over seas?

    I'd say non-existent before we got eBay. :lol:
    Now they are just as easy to get as a any other lamp. Just a couple of clicks away.
    Still rare, of course, since it's a bit more odd brand compared to e.g. Coleman.

    Nulite exported all over the world. I am not sure if they exported all their range but certainly the Storm King was from about 1918 onwards. They are still hard to find outside the US though and they are not at all common so this is a very nice find. ::Neil::
